"ONE-HANDED SECURITY
The U-Latch Universal Gate Latch offers a simple solution to an old problem -- making sure a closed gate stays closed. The latch also makes it easy to close the gate with one hand. The U-Latch is made of zinc-coated steel and is designed to fit 1 5/8- to 2-inch-diameter gates and panels. The latch may be bolted vertically or horizontally to gate tubing. The design allows for latching -- post gaps, tight fits, sagging gates, latching two gates together and -- in the case of panels -- uneven ground conditions. The two notches in the hardware accommodate various styles and sizes of link chain. The latch installs with a wrench."
