How It Works:
Tips For Latching Securely To Keep Livestock Safe

• Pull chain through top diagonal “v” slot so it fastens away from your animal and then pull back through bottom slot
• If using a solid link chain, keep soldered part of link to outside of slot as it forms more resistance for the “v” slot
• One end of the chain can be secured under the latch bolt so the chain wraps around the latching post instead of being stapled to it
• You only need a latch on one side to secure two gates or panels together (of course, you can use two if you wish!)
• The hole in the center of the latch is designed for a screw or bolt in the event you decide to affix the latch permanently to the gate

U-Latch secures 2 gates or panels together U-Latch installed horizontally on a gate, secured to fence post U-Latch installed vertically, secured to fence post
Versatile! latches 2 gates together Bolts-on horizontally Or vertically
